Conditioner

GENERAL INFORMATION

Systems of ventilation, heating and cooling form the functional block providing high comfort at all seasons of the year, under any weather conditions and external temperature.

The cooler of the conditioner cools air and deletes from it moisture and dust, and also flower pollen.

The heater at all operating modes warms up air depending on position of the regulator of temperature. The stream of air can at desire be regulated by means of the radiator fan.

Functions of the regulator of temperature, the distributor of air and roller of the regulator of an obduv are similar to functions of the corresponding devices of a heating system and ventilation.

On the right from below from switches of heating switches of the conditioner and air circulation are located.

The switch cooling (a control lamp of inclusion) joins. Having blown it is carried out with the minimum speed which can be increased.

The device is switched by the switch to the circulation mode (a control lamp of inclusion).

At receipt outside of smoke or a smell, for a short time include circulation.

The conditioner works only in the range of temperatures when it is necessary, at an external temperature below +4 °C it is automatically disconnected.

Operation of the conditioner

The maximum cooling at a heat and long heating by sunshine.

 

For a short time open windows quicker to remove heated-up air:

— include conditioning;
— include circulation;
— temperature regulator to the left;
— the heater fan on whole revolutions;
— both regulators of a stream of air in the middle;
— open all nozzles.

Subsequently adjust operation of the conditioner according to the opportunities described below.

Normal cooling when driving in the country and on the highway

 

— include conditioning;
— switch off circulation;
— temperature regulator to the left;
— having blown at will;
— both regulators of a stream of air in the middle;
— open all nozzles.

Cooling with difference of temperatures (the head in cold, legs in heat)

— include conditioning;
— switch off circulation;
— temperature regulator at will;
— having blown at will;
— both regulators of a stream of air to the left;
— open nozzles at will.

Temperature regulator on average situation, warm air goes to the lower space, and cold - up, warm air arrives from side snuffled, cold - from averages.

Ventilation without cooling of the arriving air

 
— switch off conditioning;
— switch off circulation;
— temperature regulator to the left;
— having blown at will;
— both regulators of a stream of air in the middle;
— open all nozzles.
Additional having blown in the lower space, the left regulator to the left.

Heating

 

— switch off conditioning;
— switch off circulation;
— temperature regulator to the right;
— having blown at will, however not at full capacity;
— both regulators of a stream of air to the left.

For the period of a phase of warming up of a nozzle close. Then on requirement direct side nozzles to side glasses for defrosting acceleration.

Removal of moisture and hoarfrost from glasses

 

— include conditioning, for acceleration of an osushka at an external temperature over +4 °C the cooler (compressor) joins;
— temperature regulator to the right;
— having blown on requirement;
— the right regulator of a stream of air to the right (circulation is blocked);
— left regulator of air to the right;
— close all nozzles.

Cooling of a ware box

At the working conditioner the cooled air gets through a special nozzle to a ware box. If there is no need for cooling, the nozzle can be closed.

Important remarks

The conditioner functions only at the working engine.

During the operation of the conditioner the condensed moisture which accumulates on the lower plane of the car is formed.

At the working conditioner at least one opening has to be open for removal of air that the evaporator because of a lack of air did not become covered with hoarfrost.

If at a certain weather the windshield of the standing car misted over, turn on for a short time the conditioner according to the description of the section "Removal of Moisture and Hoarfrost from Glasses".

Maintenance

To provide maintenance of operability of the conditioner, it it is necessary irrespective of weather and season of times a month to include for a short time (whenever possible only at an external temperature above +4 °C).

Do not eliminate any malfunctions independently, and address in the specialized workshop Opel.

Only in a workshop technically difficult device can be properly checked and repaired.

The lattice protecting hit of leaves in salon

The lattices located in a motor compartment on the right and at the left outside before a windshield have to be free from leaves and snow.
