GENERAL INFORMATION

Knocking-out of the plug fixing the gear sector of a ratchet

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. Lift the car and fix it on supports.

3. On models with the catalyst unscrew four nuts and remove the thermofilter of the central section of the exhaust system.

4. On models with SOHC engines measure length of the carving plug of a cable of the emergency brake acting from the regulator then weaken the regulator and disconnect a cable from draft of the lever of the emergency brake. Remove a rubber sealing ring from the bottom of the car and draft of the lever of the emergency brake.

5. On models with DOHC engines measure length of the draft of the lever of the emergency brake acting from the compensator, then unscrew a nut and remove the compensator from draft. Remove a rubber sealing ring from the bottom of the car and draft.

6. Remove a front seat of the passenger.

7. Remove a back part of the central console.

8. Access to bolts of fastening of the lever of the emergency brake is possible through windows in a rug. In the absence of windows in a rug, being careful, cut out windows or release and unbend a rug.

9. Unscrew bolts and lift the lever of the emergency brake so that it was possible disconnect the electric socket of the switch of a control lamp of the emergency brake (see rice. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the lever of the emergency brake).

10. Disconnect the electric socket and remove the lever of the emergency brake with draft.

11. For replacement of the gear sector of a ratchet, using a steel core of the corresponding diameter, beat out the plug from the lever of the emergency brake.

12. Establish the new gear sector of a ratchet and fix it by the plug.

13. For removal of a latch drill a rivet in a rotary axis (see rice. Drilling of a rivet of a rotary axis of the lever of the emergency brake).

14. Establish a new latch and fix it by a rivet. At the same time check that the latch could move freely.

15. If necessary unscrew a bolt and remove the switch of a control lamp of the emergency brake.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments...

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a back part of the central console.

2. Establish forward sitting of the passenger.

3. On models with DOHC engines install the compensator on draft of the lever of the emergency brake and fix it new самоконтрящейся by a nut. At the same time screw a nut on the same distance, as before removal.

4. On models with SOHC engines fix the regulator of a cable of the emergency brake so that the acting part of the carving plug was same, as before removal.

5. Adjust the emergency brake, then establish wheels and lower the car.
