5.3. Antifreeze

GENERAL INFORMATION

Antifreeze represents mix of the distilled water with an ethylene glycol concentrate. Antifreeze provides protection of the cooling system against corrosion and increases a boiling point of cooling liquid. The amount of ethylene glycol in antifreeze depends on weather service conditions of the car and usually makes from 40 to 70%.
