GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The second name of the sensor of oxygen is a Lambda sensor.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. Disconnect the electric socket of the sensor of oxygen which is located behind a broad tank.

3. Tighten the emergency brake, then lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.

4. On models with DOHC engines remove an engine mudguard.

5. On models with system of injection of Multec fuel, the sensor of oxygen is screwed in in a final collector. Release electrical wire ку the oxygen sensor from fastening brackets.

6. On other models disconnect the oxygen sensor from a reception exhaust pipe (see the drawing). At a vyvinchivaniye of the sensor of oxygen it is necessary to use gloves as the exhaust system can be very hot.

7. Being careful, unscrew the oxygen sensor from a reception exhaust pipe.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the new sensor of oxygen is installed, the carving of the sensor is covered with antiprigarny material.

2. If the sensor of oxygen is installed repeatedly, apply a thin film of the antiprigarny material Opel No. 90295397 on a sensor carving.

3. You make further installation in the sequence, the return to removal.
